"Over the years, Dr. Dukes and her team have worked with our educators to implement summer STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) programs and support School Improvement Planning (SIP) and implementation. She also coaches our Division Leaders to implement the SIP action plans and to provide ongoing guidance and monitoring to ensure the school meets its goals. Dr. Dukes can strategically engage and motivate individuals, assess them in ways that lead to a deep understanding of their knowledge and skills, and utilize the ensuing data to inform instruction. She did an amazing job of truly understanding our school culture.”Once we received the School Quality Review Report our staff was able to celebrate the success of our strengths and also identify the areas that needed improvement. Using the recommendations, we developed action steps for implementation. Our biggest success came when we received our state assessment results (Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium). Theuerkauf Elementary students had a 16 percent gain in ELA and a 14 percent gain in the students either meeting or exceeding standards from the previous year!
