We believe this can be achieved by working alongside our partners to reimagine school communities and to elevate expectations and supports for educators to ensure ALL students receive the best academic and social outcomes. When we empower youth to influence and positively change the world the future is bright for everyone.

JMD Consulting LLC is a minority-owned educational consulting company established to empower youth and improve school communities. Our consultants are experienced educators who have led successful school teams and partnered with districts throughout the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and the Caribbean. We share knowledge gained from these experiences and evidence-based practices to ensure all students are prepared for their futures. The JMD Consulting Team works with district leaders, school administrators, and in classrooms alongside teachers to improve student outcomes. Our comprehensive services are customized to meet client needs using an in-person, virtual, or blended model.

DR. JALILAH M. DUKES

CEO/LEAD CONSULTANT

Dr. Jalilah Muhammad Dukes has nearly 30 years of experience in the educational field working her way up the ranks from a classroom teacher to leadership positions such as Instructional Specialist, Principal, and Assistant Superintendent. Dr. Dukes has sought to provide enriching, culturally responsive learning for students in rural, urban, and international school communities. In recognition for her work, Dr. Dukes has been named Teacher of the Year, Outstanding Educator, National Principals Leadership Institute Coach, NCATE Advisory Committee Member, state-level curriculum trainer, and board member for several community organizations. After almost 10 years of corporate life as Senior Education Consultant and Midwest Regional Lead for Cambridge Education, LLC., Jalilah launched JMD Consulting LLC to follow her dream of owning a business that empowers youth and helps to uplift school communities.

Dr. Dukes has a B.A. in Elementary Education, M.S. in Education Administration and Supervision, and PhD in Educational Administration. She is married and the proud mother of three sons. She enjoys time with her family, traveling, fitness, movies, and leading community service projects and philanthropic endeavors in her community.

RENEE CHANDONNET

CONSULTANT/ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT

Working in the education sector for more than 30 years, Renee is an experienced education program technical leader, project manager, and business development professional. Renee has worked in both the US domestic education as well as the international education sector, managing and developing programs that benefit children and improve social outcomes. Renee’s areas of specialty include stakeholder engagement, technical planning and implementation, project and program management, and financial management.

Rhonda Travis has been an educator for over 33 years. She brings a wealth of knowledge from her many years of teaching. She retired from the public school system in the Chicago area and became an Educational Consultant. She received her Bachelor of Education from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa and her Master of Education from St. Xavier University in Chicago, Illinois. Rhonda’s educational philosophy is to meet children at their need and every child has the potential to learn.
